Tahnik is the practice of placing a small amount of softened dates in the mouth of a newborn, symbolizing the sweetness of life. It is recommended to perform this ritual on the 7th, 14th, or 21st day of the child's life, ideally before the baby turns 3 months old.

Important Notes:

1. The price of $215 does not include the amount of sedekah for the baby's hair. Parents can choose to settle this amount themselves or entrust it to our Juru Tahnik, who will assist in distributing it to the poor and needy.
2. Items to prepare for the Majlis:
   • 1 Small Bowl filled with Water
   • 1 Small Plate
   • Scissors (only if parents do not wish to shave the baby’s hair completely)
   • Tissue Box
   • Extension Wire

Aqiqah is the ritual sacrifice of an animal on behalf of a newborn, typically performed on the 7th day after birth. It is a means of showing gratitude to Allah and providing for those in need.
